Chase Stadium continues attracting exciting international friendlies to South Florida, with Inter Miami CF’s home ground set to host a clash between Colombia and New Zealand. During the FIFA international window, on Saturday, November 15 at 7 p.m. ET, Los Cafeteros and the All Whites will face off for just the second time in their history after meeting in the group stage of the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup in a match that resulted in a 3-1 win for the South Americans. ABOUT THE MATCH
Colombian fans are no strangers to watching action from their country’s fútbol in South Florida, with both the national team and clubs from the South American nation playing friendlies at Chase Stadium in the past. Los Cafeteros will be seeking to extend their current undefeated record at Chase Stadium, with Colombia having previously earned a 2-1 win over Honduras in January 2022 and defeated fellow South American side Paraguay 2-0 in November of that same year, followed by a 1-0 win against Venezuela in a friendly in November 2023. Notably, the match will be one of their first after concluding CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers in September, with Colombia claiming one of the six direct slots for South American nations for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
For New Zealand, meanwhile, the occasion will mark their first visit to Chase Stadium. The match will be part of the All Whites’ preparations ahead of next year’s World Cup after having already secured qualification for what will be the nation’s third appearance at the global tournament.
Chase Stadium’s electric atmosphere proves once again that the Inter Miami CF facilities are a top spot for international fútbol after hosting numerous international matchups in 2025. The year kicked off with a clash between the USMNT and Venezuela and the FC Series match between Brazilian Série A giants Sao Paulo and CR Flamengo in January, followed by Guatemala taking on Honduras in a Central American battle in March, and The Beautiful Game celebrity match returning to South Florida for a second occasion in June.

Los Cafeteros buscarán extender su invicto en el Chase Stadium tras haber sumado tres victorias anteriormente. Colombia sumó un triunfo por 2-1 contra Honduras en enero de 2022 previo a imponerse por 2-0 ante Paraguay en noviembre de ese mismo año, seguido de una victoria por 1-0 contra Venezuela en un amistoso en noviembre de 2023. Cabe destacar que este será uno de sus primeros partidos tras concluir las eliminatorias de la CONMEBOL para la Copa Mundial en septiembre, con Colombia adjudicándose una de las seis plazas directas para la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2026.
Para Nueva Zelanda, por su parte, este será su primer partido en Chase Stadium. El encuentro formará parte de los preparativos de los All Whites de cara al Mundial del próximo año, tras haber asegurado la clasificación para la que será su tercera participación en el certamen internacional.
El gran ambiente en Chase Stadium ha demostrado en numerosas ocasiones que las instalaciones de Inter Miami CF son un destino de primer nivel para albergar fútbol internacional, habiendo recibido ya varios amistosos internacionales en 2025.
